Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, has announced that one out of six patients with COVID-19 infection has been discharged.
Commissioner for Health, Dr Amina Mohammed Baloni on Wednesday said that the patient has improved following treatment at the isolation centre.
Recall that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Tuesday, confirmed 19 new cases of Coronavirus covering the country.
“State government is looking ahead to the recovery and discharge of the other five Covid-19 patients in the state,” she added.
An additional 11 cases were later firm in Lagos bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 373. 99 patients have been discharged, with 11 deaths recorded.
“The Ministry of Health wishes to remind residents of Kaduna State that it is safer and cheaper to observe preventive measures than to treat Covid-19. Citizens must wash their hands regularly with soap and water and scrupulously observe social distancing.
